Blue Water Controls is dedicated to working with our customers to develop manufacturing systems that will prevent mis-assembled parts, or parts with missing components from leaving their manufacturing and assembly equipment.
In addition, consultation is available to prevent such occurences prior to manufacturing through the PFMEA and Control Plan process.

 Customer's problem: Prevention of parts entering packaging without the gasket present.
Solution: Design and build a cost effective solution to inspect parts prior to entry in a controlled packaging system. A controls and pneumatics package were added for gasket verification, containing rejections in an isolated lock box.

 Problem: Misfilled parts had been identified causing assembly and function issues at assembly plant.
Solution: Existing equipment was modified with additional sensors and PLC programming changes to detect and contain such occurances.

|
Problem: Customer required a distance sensing option for detection of clip presence. Solution: BWC specified the proper sensor and mounting location for consistant detection.
